SUNWAY HOLDINGS BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS SUNWAY HOLDINGS INCORPORATED BERHAD) ["SUNWAY"]
- DISCLOSURE IN RELATION TO ANY AGREEMENT, ARRANGEMENT, JOINT VENTURE OR COLLABORATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF BIDDING FOR OR SECURING A PROJECT OR CONTRACT (COLLECTIVELY KNOWN AS "VENTURES")
- STATUS OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ("MOU")

We refer to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's (“Bursa Securities”) letter dated 4 August 2006 and wish to announce the status of progress of the Ventures of Sunway Group, details as set out in Table 1 below.

Pursuant to Chapter 9, Paragraph 9.28 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, we also wish to announce the status of the MOU which was entered into between Sunway and the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, details as set out in Table 2 below:

26.09.2007 Letters of Award for the following contracts totalling RM520 million from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd to Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (“SunCon”) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway):-
1. Contract for “The Proposed Design, Construction and Completion of Government Office Building consisting of Office Tower, Related Works at Basement and External Works at Lot 4G10, Precinct 4, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Wilayah Persekutuan, Putrajaya” worth RM273.2 million; and

2. Contract for “The Proposed Design, Construction and Completion of Government Office Building consisting of Office Tower, Related Works at Basement and External Works at Lots 4G11 and 4T4A, Precinct 4, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Wilayah Persekutuan, Putrajaya” worth RM246.8 million

(collectively known as “the Projects”).

The Projects are in progress.

28.01.2008 Letter of Award for RM109.63 million from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd to SunCon for the proposed construction and completion of the remaining infrastructure works in Precinct 11, Putrajaya (“the Project”). The Project has generated revenue, recognised and consolidated in the quarterly results of Sunway for the period ended 30 September 2008.

21.02.2008 Letter of Award for RM263.58 million from MEB Construction Sdn Bhd to SunCon for the sub-contract works known as construction and completion of the privatisation of South Klang Valley Expressway ("the Project").
The Project is in progress.

21.04.2008 Letter of Award for RM15.6 million from Delta Heights Sdn Bhd to Sunway Geotechnics (M) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Sunway Piling Sdn Bhd) (“Sunway Geotechnics”) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway) for the substructure works for "Cadangan membina sebuah bangunan pejabat 19 tingkat yang mengandungi 12 tingkat pejabat, 1 tingkat aras tanah, 1 tingkat restoran, 1 tingkat ruang mekanikal & dek bumbung, 4 tingkat tempat letak kereta dan 2 aras tempat letak kereta bawah tanah di atas Lot 450, Seksyen 67, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan" ("the Project").
The Project has generated revenue, recognised and consolidated in the quarterly results of Sunway for the period ended 30 September 2008.

12.05.2008 Letter of Award for RM12.7 million from Sunway South Quay Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Sunway City Berhad) to Sunway Geotechnics for the construction and completion of piling and pile cap works for the proposed development of 4 blocks of apartment with 1 unit of TNB transmission station, 1 unit of guard house, 1 unit of reading room, club house, multipurpose hall, 2 units of shops, cafeteria, gymnasium and swimming pool on part of Lot PT 9315, 6-16 (RC8), Mukim Petaling, Daerah Petaling, Bandar Sunway, Selangor Darul Ehsan ("the Project").
The Project has generated revenue, recognised and consolidated in the quarterly results of Sunway for the period ended 30 September 2008.

16.07.2008 Letter of Award for RM28.6 million from Aston Star Sdn Bhd to Sunway Geotechnics for the execution and completion of piling, pilecaps, basement B6 slab and earthing system works for the proposed development of 2 blocks of 40-storey condominium (462 units) and 1 block of 2-storey shop (14 units) with 6-storey basement car park and recreational facilities on Lot 1870 and 1871 (MK 28), Jalan Kiara, Mont’ Kiara, Mukim Batu Dalam Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur for Messrs Lucky Bright Star Sdn Bhd (“the Project”).
The Project is in progress.

09.09.2008 Joint Venture Agreement between Sunway Developments Pte Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway), Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd and Hoi Hup J.V. Development Pte Ltd for the execution and performance of the design, construction, completion and development of the public housing development on the state land parcel Toa Payoh PH1 under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme for the Housing and Development Board of Singapore (“the Project”).
The Project is in progress.

23.09.2008 Letter of Award for AED1.875 billion (equivalent to approximately RM1.80 billion) from Mubadala Capitaland Real Estate LLC to Sunway Innopave Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway) for the proposed Arzanah Development – Rihan Heights, first phase Main Building Works which comprises 5 residential towers, a 3-level podium, 14 townhouses, a clubhouse and approximately 1,208 car park spaces together with associated landscaping, external works and services in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates ("the Project").
The Project is in progress.

06.11.2008 Letters of Award for the following contracts totalling S$171.68 million (equivalent to approximately RM408.10 million) from Straits Construction Co. (Pte) Ltd to Sunway Concrete Products (S) Pte Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway):-
1. Contract for supply and delivery of precast concrete components for "Building Works at Punggol East Contract 20 and Contingency Works" (total: 738 dwelling units);

2. Contract for supply and delivery of precast concrete components for "Building Works at Clementi Neighbourhood 4 Contract 8 and Contingency Works" (total: 2,234 dwelling units); and 3. Contract for design, fabricate, supply and delivery of precast concrete components for the Design, Build and Sell Scheme project on Lot 9997W MK17 at Lorong 1A, Toa Payoh comprising erection of 5 blocks residential flats with 1 block of multi-storey car park

(collectively known as “the Projects”).

08.10.2007 MOU dated 3 October 2007 between Sunway and the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to record their mutual understanding and commitment to enter into commercial discussions with each other in respect of certain agreed areas of collaboration pending the negotiation and execution of the relevant binding agreements.
No update since the last announcement made on 29 August 2008.
