- LETTER OF AWARD FOR RM263.58 MILLION FROM MEB CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD
The Board of Directors of Sunway is pleased to announce that Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, has been awarded by MEB Construction Sdn Bhd the sub-contract works known as construction and completion of the privatisation of South Klang Valley Expressway for the sub-contract sum of RM263.58 million (hereinafter referred to as "the Proposed Project").
The period of construction shall be 19 months plus an additional 2 months for testing and commissioning.
The Proposed Project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the Group for the financial year ending 2009 onwards.
None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the Proposed Project.
