Visiting family and friends can provide patients an uplifting moment in their hospital stay and give them the opportunity to take their minds off their illness for awhile. However, it is our responsibility to ensure visiting hours are set, not just for patient’s safety, but to enable our medical personnel to attend to the patient’s daily medications/treatment.
