the environments in mind. Noise levels are way below EPA
requirements and meet all EEC legislative requirements.

Emission
The efficiency of the AIRMAN
unique profile means that required engine power is extremely low resulting
in less emission to the atmosphere.
To allow the engine to warm-up under a light load prevents pressure from
building up in the receiver while
maintaining the engine at idle speed.
- Capacity Control
Automatically adjust capacity from 0-100%. Control design
eliminates engines surging by optimising engine
speed at reduced capacity demands - thus reducing wear and maximising fuel
efficiency.
- Operational Panel
The panel, fitted at the rear for added operator protection, monitors the
operations of the machine. Gauges
for : Discharge Air Pressure, Tachometer, Hourmeter, Fuel Level.
Fault Indicators for : High Air Discharge Temperature, Low Engine Oil
Pressure, High Engine Coolant Temperature. Warning Lamps for
: Low
Battery Charge, Compressor Oil Filter Clogging.
- Serviceability
To minimize service time AIRMAN
compressors are fitted with gull-wing type doors which provide total
access for service and routine maintenance. To further simply service all drainage
points, fitted with valves,
are piped to the outside of the unit. Automatic air bleeder is
fitted at the fuel system
(for all models up to PDS655S).
- Tough Metal Construction
Pre-painting of the full classic and body-work prior to
assembly with an electrostatic chassis process ensures
a tough quality finish and eliminates unpainted rust prone metal to
metal contact areas.
- Shutdown & Protection
System
The AIRMAN compressors are constantly monitored and are
protected against high air discharge, high
coolant temperature and low engine oil pressure service. Service indicators are
fitted to monitor the inlet
filters, compressor oil filter, receiver fuel and coolant levels.
- Operator Protection
Fan belt covers, nylon exhaust pipe wrapping and an
over-pressure relief valve are provided for offer
additional operator protection.
