Sunway's profit surges 34% quarter-on-quarter, declares 2.25 sen dividend

Sunway Holdings Berhad’s (Sunway) net profit for the three months ended December 31, 2009 soared by 34% to RM 24.1 million from RM18 million recorded during the three months ended September 30, 2009, on the back of healthier performance in the Group’s construction and property development divisions. Revenue rose by 22% quarter-on-quarter to RM501.6 million from RM411.5 million.

Sunway City achieves record profit of RM1.2 billion

Sunway City Berhad (Sunway City) continued its strong financial performance by recording a revenue of RM1.6 billion and profit before tax of RM1.2 billion for its financial period ended 31 December 2009. This is based on an 18-month period as Sunway City had earlier changed its financial year-end from 30 June to 31 December.
