Petaling Jaya – Sunway achieved another milestone with the topping- off of The Sunway Pinnacle recently. The new MSC-status compliant office building, with its state-of-the -art Grade A facilities and the soon to be completed elevated Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station at its doorstep, will become another benchmark that will put Sunway City into the international arena.
The 25-floor tower building with a pyramid top stands proud as the tallest building in the integrated township of Bandar Sunway. Targeted to complete on schedule in December 2013, Sunway Pinnacle will be a Green Mark Gold and GBI rated building. Sunway is in the final stages of accomplishing these accreditations which will be finalised on completion of the building.
The building is 81% efficient in terms of nett lettable floor area, offering 580,000 sq. ft. of nett lettable space. The building has a large 25,000 sq. ft. nett floor plate with executive restrooms on every corner of the lift. core and centrally water-cooled air-conditioning system. Sunway Pinnacle will offer ample car-parking facilities located underground on 6 floors.
The 13th floor Sky Garden presents unobstructed views of the nearby Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Resort Hotel and is equipped with executive facilities for tenants including meeting rooms and a boutique gym.

Sunway has confirmed 120,000 sq. ft. of tenancies which include some multi-national companies. Sunway is hoping to complete tenancy for another 120,000 sq. ft. by the time the building is ready. The average gross rental is currently RM4.50 to RM5 per sq. ft. and service charge of about RM1.20 per sq. ft.
Sunway Pinnacle is expected to attract 5,000 staff into the Sunway City creating a captive market for its retail, hospitality, entertainment and medical services within Sunway generating an annual revenue of up to RM60 million per annum.
The building is designed with VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) to ensure building efficiency and integration of design, scheduling, estimation and fabrication processes.
