Sunway City is currently decorated with outdoor lights at various points which features a giant lighted peacock, a symbol of grace, pride and beauty, a sure showpiece of joy for the families who celebrate in Sunway.
Sunway Pyramid had earlier launched its floating musical kolam, the first in Malaysia which produces flashing lights at the water feature and kolam, synchronous with joyous Indian music, every day from 10 am to 10 pm, until 5 November creating a warm and atmospheric festival. Their Some Of uS Food Drive community project through two large collection boxes invited the public to contribute groceries to spread seasonal cheer and goodwill. The collection boxes were located at Aeon and Cold Storage and grocery items such as cooking oil, condensed milk, rice, muruku flour and more were kindly donated by the public and passed on to the deserving families of SK Bandar Sunway and to SJK Tamil Seaport on another occasion. This is how Sunway facilitates and works alongside the community to bring cheer to other less privileged members of the community.
