Students with Learning Disabilities Graduate from Job Training Programme

It was a heartwarming moment for the parents, family, friends and teachers of 13 special students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Sunway when they graduated from Sunway Group’s Job Training Programme 2015.

The recognition was for the completion of a six-month multifaceted job-training programme which they had undergone in various components of Sunway Group’s businesses. This year’s participants had assumed roles at Sunway University, Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, and Sunway Medical Centre. Seven of the students are currently undergoing the transition programme at Kompleks 3C Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, working on their creative fingers through baking, decorating handmade cards, porcelain and ceramic products, hampers and other special handmade gifts.

The students received their certificates from Sunway Group Brand Marketing & Communications senior general manager Jane Poh during the graduation ceremony held at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.
