An Education Hub of Excellence in Asia
Sunway Education Group is committed to providing quality education for all, regardless of race, creed or financial standing since its establishment in 1987. As a pioneer of private education in Malaysia, we have helped transform the landscape of education in the nation.
Our educational institutions and entities are owned and governed by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation (JCF), Malaysia’s largest education-focused social enterprise. Through our unique not-for-profit structure, operating surpluses are channelled back into the institutions or disbursed as scholarships, research grants and expansion funds for faculty and facilities to ensure quality education in perpetuity.
Through the JCF, we have established partnerships with world-renowned education institutions. These collaborations lend international qualifications to our educational programmes, elevating the teaching and research standards of our universities and in Malaysia.
This is in line with our aim to continuously transform ourselves and our educational institutions into a world-class brand, providing accessible quality education to all. To date, we encompass 23 educational entities including Sunway University, Sunway College, Sunway International Schools and more.
