Raising Global Healthcare Leaders

Sunway University and Sunway Medical Centre offer RM1 million in scholarships in partnership with Harvard Medical School

The Southeast Asia Leadership Programme is a world-class training programme for healthcare leaders and working professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.

Sunway University and Sunway Medical Centre have recently signed an agreement with the Harvard Medical School Office of Global Education to develop the Southeast Asia Leadership (HMSSEAL) Programme, a world-class training programme for healthcare leaders and working professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.

Sunway University and Sunway Medical Centre have also jointly committed RM1million in scholarships to selected, qualified healthcare professionals out of the 100-participant intake per year.

The curriculum covers topics such as leading and managing in complex organisations, capital budgeting, leveraging executive decision-making tools to assess healthcare plans, and how to foster creativity.

The programme aims to equip managers and clinicians working in the healthcare industry, and propel Sunway to becoming a regional healthcare hub and centre of excellence.
