Bubur Lambuk Distribution

The #SunwayforGood Raya Cheer will distribute a total of 7,000 packs of bubur lambuk in various locations.

  • A total of 7,000 packs of bubur lambuk will be distributed in various locations in Penang, Johor, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Wanting to bring a cheerful Ramadhan to the underserved communities, especially families in the B40 group, Sunway celebrates #SunwayforGood Raya Cheer to reach out to 11,520 beneficiaries nationwide.

Bubur Lambuk Distribution

The #SunwayforGood Raya Cheer 2019 kick starts today with bubur lambuk distribution at Masjid Daerah Seberang Perai Tengah, located only 3km from Sunway Wellesley, followed by another bubur lambuk distribution at Komtar tomorrow. A total of 7,000 packs of bubur lambuk will be distributed in various locations in Penang, Johor, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Bubur Lambuk Distribution

The bubur lambuk will be specially prepared by the team of expert chefs from Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya, Sunway Putra Hotel, Sunway Resort Hotel, National Committee for Community Services Malaysian Red Crescent and various mosques.

The #SunwayforGood Raya Cheer programme will continue until 22 June. The month-long initiative includes installation of rice automated teller machines (ATM), iftar barakah session, packed food distribution to the homeless and Raya Cheer (shop for baju Raya and buka puasa) with B40 families spread across several regions where Sunway Group has built, served, and remained as part of the communities.
