Ipoh – This 2nd annual event organized for our Lost World Junior Rangers is far more different than the one organized last year, whereby, Junior Rangers and their friends around Perak took part in a 2 day 1 night camping experience at Lost World of Tambun. This programme is open to all Junior Rangers members and also to the kids from age 7 to 12.
This programme is specially designed to mold and enhance their survival skill, sense of independence and to learn the importance of protecting mother nature and its wildlife.
Mr. Calvin Ho, General Manager of Lost World of Tambun believes that camping is a great experience for kids. It builds their personalities through mental and physical development.
These children will also experience fun-educational activities such as tent setting, water safety briefing & water confidence and group activities. Some of the activities include and a night trail to the Petting Zoo and cave exploration to Gua Anak Datok which provides the young rangers an insight into 400 million year old limestone, the magnificent stalagmites and stalactites, Picasso Chamber, limestone water flows and bat cave.
For those kids who missed this opportunity don’t feel disappointed because there will be a sequel of The Junior Rangers Camping Under The Stars 2 in December 2012. Log on to Lost World of Tambun website and Facebook for more updates and information
